E. Garrett Gummer: Elder Law Attorney Bucks PA

E. Garrett Gummer, III is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) as accredited by the National Elder Law Foundation and approved by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.  For over 30 years, he has been assisting senior citizens and their family members in elder law related areas including wills and estate administration, powers of attorney, living wills, medicaid planning, nursing home assistance and guardianships.  Mr. Gummer has been selected each year as a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" since 2008.  He is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Attorneys (PAELA).

Mr. Gummer earned his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from the University of New Mexico, his Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Relations from The University of Pennsylvania, his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Widener University, and his Master of Laws (LLM) in Trial Advocacy from Temple University.  Mr. Gummer has served on active duty as an officer in the United States Navy, and then continued to serve in the naval reserve after beginning the practice of the law.  He retired with the rank of Captain.  


Maureen L. Anderson: : Elder Law Attorney Bucks PAMaureen L. Anderson is a Certified Elder Law Attorney as designated by the National Elder Law Foundation and authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. She concentrates her practice in Elder Law and Wills and Estates. She provides a compassionate approach in assisting seniors and their families with their legal needs.  She works with families facing long term care decisions, protection of assets, and navigation through complex planning for both health care and finances.  She has extensive experience with government benefits including Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.  Her practice also includes Guardianships for seniors and for disabled individuals and assisting disabled individuals with special needs planning.  Ms. Anderson’s practice also encompasses estate planning including Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Directives as well as estate administration matters. 

Ms. Anderson earned her B.A. in Politics from St. Joseph’s University, her M.S. in Criminal Justice from St. Joseph’s University, and her J.D. from The University of District of Columbia School of Law. Prior to entering the practice of Elder Law, Maureen has experience in Victim Advocacy in the Philadelphia District Attorney Office and in the health care industry, all which provided a foundation for her current practice of law. Maureen is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
